Patrick has worked as planting advisor on six celebrated Chelsea Flower Show gardens and displays

Patrick worked on the planting for Studio Bristow’s Gold-medal awarded ‘Size of Wales’ Garden in 2024. The garden has since been permanently home at Treborth Botanic Garden in Bangor.

In 2023, Patrick advised, selected, positioned and planted for Ji-hae Hwang’s garden ‘A Letter From A Million Years Past’ which was awarded a Gold medal.

In 2022, Patrick worked as planting advisor for Richard Miers, whose ‘The Perennial Garden With Love’ won the prestigious People's Choice Award.

In 2021 he worked on show garden Trailfinder’s ‘Himalayan Garden’ designed by Jonathan Snow and themed on the landscape and flora of the Himalayas. It won a gold medal.

 Garden of Imagination by designer Propagating Dan for Chelsea 2016. Silver gilt medal awarded.
